About the Role

You are an all-around senior strategist, with a strong understanding of how brands grow in the Social Age. You have experience from multiple categories and across brands in different stages of growth. You are comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced, international work environments.You can adapt to a changing brief. You believe in both the traditional & the new world of advertising. You constantly try to explore what's next in the world of brand building. You can pitch bold new ideas and frameworks to global CMOs. You follow Mark Zuckerberg as well as Byron Sharp. You know who won the last Film Grand Prix at Cannes and who's best on Snap. You learn from APG and IPA as well as Instagram's Creative Hub. You love to work with creatives and with data analysts.


What You'll Do

  • Be the "go-to" thought leader and expert in integration of social and brand strategy and engagement planning
  • Strategically grow and guide a portfolio of key US and global clients
  • Lead and represent a social team while managing laterally to production and media partners and up to global business leads
  • Create synergies between social and other disciplines: PR & Influence, Customer Engagement & Commerce, Data & Analytics, and Media
  • Lead innovation and implementation of key strategic frameworks in social and brand strategy with the ability to develop end-to-end solutions with social at heart
  • Oversee quality and development of creative (concept) briefs and briefings as well as asset briefs to meet modern marketing needs to drive concept to content across experience seamlessly connecting social to the full ecosystem
  • Educate and train agency teams and serve as an ambassador with social platforms
  • Manage and grow senior team members of social strategy team
  • Be a trusted client strategy partner on a robust account
  • Build strong relationships with creative leaders and creative community
  • Become a strong contributor in a global thought-leadership network


What You'll Need

  • US & Global experience
  • 8 - 15 years of experience
  • Proven experience in brand and communications planning
  • Proven successful collaboration with creative leaders and complex creative teams
  • Proven thought-leadership
  • Management of teams of strategists and cross-disciplinary teams
  • Effectively translates data into meaningful, actionable social and content strategies, based on a deep understanding of human behavior on different social platforms, in various categories
  • Able to develop story and deliver a clear and compelling presentation for sr. client stakeholders. Provides strategic stewardship throughout the process.
  • Continually shares learnings, best practices and relevant industry, client, and category insights with the team. Internally seen as a resource and sounding board within the team.
  • Able to work with digital and social media experts
  • Understanding of landscape with focus on social media
  • Willingness to learn, explore, and reinvent
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills. Ability to write and deliver persuasive presentations is critical
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to interpret ongoing research and media reports, guide and partner with social media experts to inform communications recommendations
