We Are:

At Synopsys, we drive the innovations that shape the way we live and connect. Our technology is central to the Era of Pervasive Intelligence, from self-driving cars to learning machines. We lead in chip design, verification, and IP integration, empowering the creation of energy efficient high-performance silicon chips and software content. Join us to transform the future through continuous technological innovation.

You Are:

You are a dynamic, visionary leader ready to shape the future of semiconductor testing. With deep expertise in the IC design flow-from architectural definition to physical implementation and signoff-you bring specialized knowledge in design-for-test (DFT), automatic test pattern generation (ATPG), built-in-self-test (BIST), and yield diagnostics. You possess an acute awareness of the in-system and manufacturing test markets, understanding their technical nuances, customer pain points, and evolving industry standards.

Collaboration is at the heart of your work style. You thrive in cross-functional environments, building strong partnerships with engineering, marketing, sales, and executive teams. Engaging with senior leaders and customers comes naturally, and you are skilled at translating complex technical requirements into actionable product strategies and compelling value propositions.

Your background in EDA or the semiconductor sector as a senior product manager or marketer-ideally rooted in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area ecosystem-enables you to spot emerging opportunities and respond with agility. You are energized by the challenge of leading through ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and driving business outcomes in a matrixed organization. Above all, you are passionate about delivering innovative solutions that empower customers and advance Synopsys' leadership in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing and executing the product strategy, roadmap, and marketing campaigns for Synopsys' end-to-end DFT/ATPG solutions for both in-system and manufacturing test environments.
  • Tracking engagement pipelines and key milestones, ensuring cross-functional teams meet business and technical objectives through effective collaboration.
  • Creating compelling presentations and developing impactful content such as blogs, videos, webinars, and advertising materials to promote product adoption and thought leadership.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, engaging with customers, field teams, and internal stakeholders to provide guidance, support, and technical insights.
  • Monitoring market and competitive trends, synthesizing insights to inform product and leadership teams, and adjusting strategies to maintain a leadership position.
  • Driving customer adoption by supporting pre-sales and post-sales activities, gathering feedback, and influencing the product development lifecycle.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Drive Synopsys' leadership in in-system and manufacturing test through innovative product strategies that set industry standards.
  • Shape the technical product roadmap by collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
  • Elevate the visibility and reputation of Synopsys' DFT/ATPG solutions through impactful marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Provide actionable market and competitive intelligence, empowering the organization to make strategic adjustments and outpace competitors.
  • Influence the adoption of cutting-edge test methodologies, enabling customers to achieve higher yield, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Champion customer success by ensuring products address real-world challenges, resulting in strong partnerships and long-term loyalty.

What You'll Need:

  • Expert-level knowledge and genuine passion for Design-for-Test (DFT), Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG), and the broader in-system/manufacturing test ecosystem.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in EDA, semiconductor design, or related fields, with a proven track record in product management or product marketing roles.
  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; advanced degrees (MBA or PhD) are a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment, with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to create compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-centric mindset, adept at engaging diverse stakeholders and building lasting relationships both internally and externally.

Who You Are:

  • A strategic thinker who anticipates market shifts and proactively adjusts plans.
  • An influential communicator who inspires teams and customers alike.
  • A collaborative leader who values diverse perspectives and fosters an inclusive culture.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with a knack for turning data into actionable insights.
  • Resilient and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced environments and navigating ambiguity with confidence.
  • Passionate about technology, innovation, and continuous learning.

The Team You'll Be A Part Of:

You will be part of a highly skilled and collaborative team focused on driving Synopsys' leadership in DFT & ATPG. In addition to you as the product management leader, this team is composed of experts in R&D, Product Engineering, and Field Applications Engineering. Together, you will drive customer adoption and success of Synopsys manufacturing test products, fostering a culture of innovation, shared learning, and operational excellence.
