What to Expect
The Autobidder team develops and maintains the physical dispatch and electricity market trading strategies for front-of-meter and behind-the-meter storage systems providing Grid Services. We are an algorithmic trading team that develops systematic software solutions for monetizing energy storage by continuously forecasting electricity market prices, analyzing key market trends, and actively re-optimizing behavior. We have repeatedly demonstrated success in residential, commercial, and utility-scale settings.
We are seeking a strategic commercial facing product manager. You will partner with our engineering, operations, analysts, finance and business development team to scale our technology capabilities and services globally. You will evaluate commercial opportunities, develop strategic roadmaps and innovating on our product & commercial offerings.
What You'll Do
- Develop business models and commercial offerings that scale, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Develop strategic roadmaps that continues Tesla's innovation and impact on the energy industry
- Manage and build strong relationships with utility-scale customers
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, etc.) to prioritize, assess tradeoffs and deliver against the roadmap
- Develop and manage outbound communications, including sales materials, customer updates, social media posts
What You'll Bring
- Experience developing and scaling commercial structures and/or financial products in the electricity industry
- Experience inat leastone of the following: electricity market operations, energy-related commodity trading, utility-scale investment diligence,energy markets quantitative analysis
- A passion for extracting insight from data and complete comfort in communicatinghighly technical topics to a range of audiences
- Preferred: strong grasp of renewables and BESS dispatch optimization

Expected Compensation
$128,000 - $228,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
