Leads the design and continuous improvement of modular, learner-centered pathways across short-term, non-degree training programs within the Skills Lab. Applying systems thinking, instructional design, and human-centered design principles, this role ensures that learning experiences and support mechanisms are aligned with adult learner needs, employer expectations, and best practices in workforce training.
This position is located at Gradient Tulsa.

Essential Duties
-
Lead the design and iteration of modular learning pathways that prepare adult learners for high demand tech careers, in alignment with employer input and evidence-based instructional design principles.
Own the design strategy for learner recruitment, application, and onboarding workflows, optimizing for accessibility, motivation, and user experience across all adult learner profiles.
Develop and implement communication strategies and learner-facing tools that build confidence, set expectations, and promote persistence.
Apply behavioral and learning analytics to improve program touchpoints, coaching strategies, and support resource design.
Exercise independent judgment in identifying learner pain points and recommending system-level improvements using feedback, data, and research-backed strategies.
Collaborate with instructors and program leadership to align cohort flow, content delivery, and learner support infrastructure.
Support the integration and continuous improvement of wraparound services through strategic input, design adjustments, and learner testing.

Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in education, communication, business, psychology, sociology, or a related area. Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience.
3 years experience designing, coordinating, or delivering learner-focused programs in settings such as adult education, corporate learning and development, instructional design, user experience design, workforce training, or related fields.
Ability to apply learning or design principles using digital tools or platforms that enhance the learner experience.
Ability to collaborate independently and effectively with internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to coaching, mentoring, or behavioral nudging strategies in an education or workforce context.
