Join Our IT Leadership Team. AMSOIL is currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager.



Are you passionate about leading innovation in IT infrastructure, while exploring the exciting frontiers of cloud computing and artificial intelligence? We're looking for a forward-thinking Infrastructure Manager to join our Information Technology department in Superior, WI. This key leadership role will not only manage our help desk, network, server, and telecommunication systems, but will also help guide our journey into cloud technologies and AI-driven solutions.



Core Responsibilities:



  • Plan, coordinate, and direct IT infrastructure activities to align with business objectives and prepare for emerging technologies like AI and cloud computing.
  • Drive the assessment, adoption, and integration of cloud-based infrastructure and services.
  • Collaborate on the evaluation and implementation of AI tools and platforms.
  • Benchmark, analyze, and recommend improvements and growth opportunities for IT infrastructure and assets.
  • Manage deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrades, and support for network and server infrastructure.
  • Oversee help desk and technology support services.
  • Manage financial aspects of IT infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff.
  • Support enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity planning.



Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in related computer field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience managing IT infrastructure projects and teams, with exposure to cloud and/or AI initiatives a plus.
  • Strong technical knowledge, especially in cloud platforms (such as Azure) and AI tools (automation, analytics, or machine learning platforms is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving tech landscape and prioritize competing demands.
  • Experience managing help desk, network, server, and telecommunications systems; cloud infrastructure management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws such as Payment Card Industry Standards
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering value across the enterprise.
