Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on HVAC units, refrigeration equipment and kitchen equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, ice machines, motors, pumps, water heaters and kitchen equipment.
  • Install, troubleshoot and repair control devices on HVAC equipment.
  • Monitor and operate building automation systems and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment.
  • Solder and braze copper piping and install PVC piping.
  • Inspect and adjust or repair electrical systems in accordance with local codes.
  • Maintain all buildings, property and equipment for the site.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working conditions and comply with applicable safety rules.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Ability to complete tasks in various trades (i.e. Carpentry, Paint, Plumbing, etc.), as required.
  • May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.


Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Three to Five (3-5) years of experience in commercial HVAC/R service with experience on various manufacturers' equipment.
  • Proficient in understanding technical documents including blueprints, wiring diagrams and O&M manuals.
  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal Certification required.
  • Trade School Certification or equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to work at heights on ladders, lifts or roofs.
  • Safe driver's needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds at times.


USD 23.65 - 35.48 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $23.65 - $35.48/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
