SOCIAL MANAGER: JOB DESCRIPTION The AR/VR and wearables experience team at a high-profile, leading social media company is looking for a creative, analytical and strategic Social Manager, Wearables to join the team, sitting at the intersection of creative strategy and content execution. The Social Manager, Wearables will be responsible for the thoughtful architecture and seamless execution of a best-in-class social strategy for our client's Wearable products. This person will play a critical role in a variety of team efforts, including strategic development, campaign planning, content execution, project management and more. We are looking for a strategic and creative individual with a passion for consumer tech. Key Responsibilities: * Develop platform-specific strategies and franchises for social strategies and franchises across our portfolio of wearable products. Own content from ideation to publishing, including both long-form and short-form formats. * Lead creative ideation and execution of ongoing content series across wearable product channels. Streamline and scale templated content programs across platforms. * Track key KPIs across channels and surface platform-specific insights to improve performance month over month. * Stay up to date on emerging trends, formats, and hooks to develop retention-driven content across our suite of wearable social channels. * Support social leads with the development and execution of product-specific social strategies. * Partner with the social creative team to develop innovative, thumb-stopping video and text-based content that aligns with strategy, prioritizes social best practices, and drives brand engagement. * Align with social producers to optimize processes and ensure seamless workflows. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Performance Marketing, Brand Strategy, and Communications) to develop plans and ensure alignment. * Co-develop playbooks and immersive, reactive programs in partnership with the community manager to drive brand love and amplify user-generated content. * Manage agency partners and other external creative collaborators. * Be a forward thinker: anticipate blockers and stay on top of deadlines. * Operate globally by coordinating relevant initiatives with regional marketing counterparts. * Bonus: Content editing capabilities and excellent copywriting skills. Minimum Qualifications: * 8+ years of proven experience growing Facebook and YouTube channels, ideally through successful social media strategies and programs across multiple verticals or brands in consumer product categories such as tech, sports, fashion, entertainment, or culture. * Deep understanding of YouTube algorithm behavior, channel analytics, retention tactics, and content formatting. * Strong communication skills with the ability to influence strategic decisions. * Deep understanding of social marketing, creator ecosystems, and content trends. * Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy under pressure while managing multiple workstreams, projects, stakeholders, and processes. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing experience. * Experience in innovative consumer product categories such as consumer tech, AR/VR technologies, sports, fashion, or culture brands. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
