Position Overview

This position can be located in Dallas, TX.

The Mobility & Relocation Specialist, North America, will report to the Senior Director of Global Compensation and will lead the strategy, delivery, and administration of mobility and relocation programs for both new hires and internal transfers across the United States and Canada. This individual will ensure seamless, employee-centric experiences while managing compliance, vendor relationships, and alignment with broader talent and workforce strategies. The role will support a mix of permanent relocations, job site transfers, and temporary assignments, and will require cross-functional collaboration with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Legal, and Finance.

Essential Job Functions

Program Management

  • Design and manage end-to-end domestic and cross-border relocation programs, including policy development, assignment planning, cost estimation, relocation support, and administration/tracking in Workday.

  • Support internal mobility programs, including permanent job site transfers and temporary assignments.

  • Perform ongoing market analyses to guide program design and policy, ensuring Vantage remains competitive.

  • Ensure a consistent and equitable employee experience aligned with talent attraction, retention, business strategy, and deployment goals.

  • Maintain and evolve relocation policies to reflect market practices and internal equity.

  • Provide high-touch support to employees and managers navigating the relocation process.

Vendor and Process Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external relocation and mobility vendors.

  • Manage vendor RFPs, contracts, renewals, and performance reviews.

  • Oversee vendor service delivery including household goods, temporary housing, immigration support, and travel.

  • Ensure cost-effective, compliant, and timely delivery of services.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial labor, tax, and immigration requirements.

  • Partner with Legal, Tax, and Finance to address cross-border complexities and mitigate risk.

  • Maintain documentation of program policies, relocation letters, and employee communications.

  • Track and analyze program utilization, costs, and employee satisfaction.

Employee Communication and Support

  • Experience managing employment-based immigration processes, including J-1 exchange visitor visas and L-1 intracompany transfers; familiarity with visa compliance, documentation, and coordination with legal counsel

  • Develop and deliver tools, guides, and training to support employees and managers in the relocation process.

  • Partner with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition to ensure early engagement and planning for moves.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex relocation cases or employee concerns.

  • Support onboarding and integration of relocated new hires.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and HR Operations to align relocation services with overall employee lifecycle and experience.

  • Provide relocation expertise during workforce planning, M&A activity, or office expansions.

  • Represent North America in global mobility initiatives and policy harmonization efforts.

Additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

  • CRP, GMS, or similar mobility/relocation certification preferred.

Experience

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in employee relocation and mobility, ideally within a global or multi-site organization.

  • Experience with both J-1 and L-1 visa applications and process

  • Demonstrated success managing high-volume relocation programs and vendors across U.S. and Canada.

  • Experience supporting both internal transfers and external new hires.

  • Experience with and knowledge of immigration, tax, and employment law related to mobility.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of relocation best practices, compliance, and vendor ecosystems.

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to support employees at all levels.

  • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and employee experience.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and relocation management platforms.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

  • French language is a plus, but not required (to support Canada)

Travel

  • Occasional travel within North America, estimated at 10% but could increase as the business evolves.
