Job Description

At Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, ensuring the safety and well-being of our Colleagues, guests and visitors is an integral part of our operations. As anHVAC technician your attentiveness, efficiency and commitment will ensure your hotel remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure the overall maintenance of the facility
  • Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance
  • Maintain and service refrigeration & HVAC equipment for facility
  • Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
  • Maintain all actions in a daily activity maintenance log
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • EPA certifications required
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role required
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications not required but helpful
  • Must have electrical, plumbing and basic maintenance skills
  • Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently
