The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology

CEE is a vibrant and intellectually diverse School with people who are using new technologies to expand the notion of what it means to be civil and environmental engineers in the 21st Century. Celebrating 126 years this academic year, we teach our students the engineering fundamentals they need to be successful at the interface of the built and the natural worlds. Our program is focused on learning how to think, how to solve problems, and how to impact society. Job Summary

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (https://ce.gatech.edu) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA invites applications for a Research Engineer II to work in the Tsai Lab.

Responsibilities

Research Engineer II

Working on research projects, including roadway asset management, maintenance, and rehabilitation, as well as roadway safety.
Mentoring and supervising students, including PhD, MS, and undergraduate students.
Assisting with developing proposals.
Assisting with teaching of courses.

Required Qualifications

A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or closely related field, and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, or
A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or closely related field, and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
A Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering, or closely related field.

Proposed Salary

Salary: $68,000 - $70,000
