Chester County Operations | We Serve Joy!

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. Under direct supervision, you will perform fundamental operations on packaging equipment such as loading packaging materials, machine changeover, setup, designated machine inspection, monitoring tasks, sanitation, and Preventative Maintenance Tasks. This role is vital to our production line, and we value your contribution to our success.

As a Machine Operator, you will operate all assigned production line equipment safely and efficiently to meet or exceed production goals in a cost-effective manner. You will engage in machine changeovers, participate actively in continuous improvement activities, and maintain a clean, organized, and Food Safety compliant work area. General housekeeping duties and maintaining a sanitary work environment are crucial aspects of this role. You will be responsible for routine production reporting, quality checks, in-process and final production quality control, and verification checks.

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate situational awareness and urgency concerning Safety, Quality, and Productivity on the production floor. Effective communication with team members, leadership, and other departments is essential. You will follow and support improvements to work policies and procedures and participate in creating, improving, and sustaining key operational policies and procedures, including standard work, job aids, checklists, and other operational support documents. Interaction with HMI control technology and training others on basics are also part of your responsibilities.

Additionally, you will be responsible for compliance with sustainability policies and practices, including conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling programs. Maintaining satisfactory attendance and complying with quality, environmental, and safety regulatory considerations are imperative.

SHIFT: NIGHTS, 6p - 6a, 2-2-3 Schedule

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate, plus one 1 year of beverage production or manufacturing experience.
  • Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within the facility.
  • Required to lift, roll and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Required to work overtime as needed.
  • Required to work assigned shift.
  • Required to wear a respirator when necessary.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Required to comply with company GMP policies.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Basic knowledge and data entry into production/quality systems.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: Set Rate Listed as $20.18 - $20.18 /per hour
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
