The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Finance Manager to join our Advanced Purity Solutions (APS) Finance team. This role is at the center of translating business vision into financial reality. Whether it's optimizing performance, informing investment decisions, or helping model growth across new technologies and markets, you will help steer the financial future of a fast paced, high-growth business. As a key member of the APS Finance team, you'll be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of financial planning and analysis across multiple business units. This scope of this role includes planning across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows for a global~$2Bn business. You'll work side by side with senior business leaders and finance peers to drive decision making, shape investment strategies and support short term and long-term strategic planning efforts.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner closely with the APS leadership team including the Vice President of APS Finance and cross functional business partners (HR, ER&D, Corporate Finance) to provide financial insights by looking around corners and proactively surfacing solutions that mitigate risks and drive opportunities.

  • Empower the business to deliver results by challenging assumptions and delivering thoughtful analysis and clear story telling.

  • Lead the annual (Annual Operating Plan & Strategic Long Rand Plan) and monthly (Short Range Outlook) financial forecasting efforts for the APS division.

  • Spearhead initiatives to streamline and standardize forecasting activities across a diverse range of business units and business models.

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports with variance analyses and actionable insights.

  • Support decision-making through scenario modelling for programs, staffing and R&D investments.

  • Demonstrate a high skill level in the use of financial systems with anemphasis on driving efficiencies and automation in reporting.

  • Assist in the preparation of Senior Executive-level financial review packages.

  • Bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude to your responsibilities every day.

What We Seek:

  • Minimum requirement eight (8) years of experience.

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.

  • Ability to work independently on key deliverables and lead financial deep-dive discussions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; continuous improvement mindset.

  • Confidence to communicate opinions to, and influence decisions of, diverse business partners in various geographies; strong collaboration skills

  • Proficient, to advanced, SAP, Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI.

  • Strong communication skills: ability to actively listen to business partners and other team members; ability to summarize and succinctly tell the financial story to non-financial business partners.

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal control concepts.

  • Proactive, future-looking, positive attitude.

  • Must be adaptable, able to multi-task and take on additional responsibilities as necessary.

  • Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately.

  • Ability to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as needed.
