Description & Requirements
The Senior Director of Finance works with the CFO, Senior Leadership team and Management Committee on forecasting financial results, analyzing actual results, leading change management within the Finance Department, leading the Firms fraud risk assessment and fraud controls, executing special projects as coordinated with the CFO, leading Finance Department business combination integration, and "leaning in" to assist various sub-groups with in Finance based on capacity constraints.
How you will contribute:
  • Financial Close - Guide, test, verify controller and accounting team on business changes that need to be addressed in the monthly close. Test and verify results to make sure they are materially accurate. Understand the results, activity and business to assist FP&A with explanations and research for the MPs
  • Drive UCX in Accounting - Assess, guide, strategize and implement process and procedures to achieve firm UCX standards in the accounting area
  • Lead Change Agility within all of the finance sub-groups: Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Practice Management and Real Estate
  • Lead integration of finance business processes for business combinations and disposals
  • Lead practice management Power BI dashboard views by anticipating, planning and working with developers on updates, improvements, new visuals and practice structure changes
  • Serve as key finance representative on real estate strategic planning, sizing, leasing guidance, financial impact of potential options and lease review and approval
  • Lead the Firms Fraud Risk Assessment process and guide Firm on fraud controls
  • Strategic partner with CFO on assessing Finance department opportunities and taking lead on investigating and executing strategic opportunities
  • Play a key role in assisting Finance department teams on special projects, improvements, issues and communications
  • Present financial results and other Finance department presentations to Senior Leadership team and management committee when the CFO is unavailable
  • Strategically plan, execute and train users new Power BI dashboards for certain financial statement information for the RMPs and MPs consumption

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
