Immediately Hiring! Yard Horse, Oak Creek, WI Starting pay: $26.19 with a $.70 shift differential for evening shift. Shift: Evening: 2:30pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday (weekend and overtime as needed) As a Yard Horse you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring production equipment and facilities are ready and available when our customers need them. Primary Responsibilities Using a single axle hydraulic five wheel tractor, lift truck or other material handling equipment, completes the following: Moves empty and loaded tankers or van type trailers to or from filling spots, shipping, receiving docks, or trailer staging areas as instructed. Weighs trailers when required. Starts and checks propane tanks in heater protected trailers. Completes safety inspection of the tractor at the start of each shift and ensures there is an adequate supple of fuel at all times in the tractor. Inventories trailers or tankwagons at this facility. Transports material to and from outside areas, various departments, loading docks and trucks. Must record all movements of material and stock into and out of storage areas on appropriate forms. Cleans up equipment and work areas and performs miscellaneous duties related to the above title. Follows all established plant safety, environmental and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day. Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
