Summary of Job Duties:The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the director of the Office of Program Assessment (PASS), housed within the Office of the Provost. This position plays a key role in supporting curriculum management, assessment activities, and institutional reporting processes.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for monitoring and tracking curriculum updates across multiple campus systems and spreadsheets, preparing agendas for campus committees, and collecting and archiving annual program assessment reports. The role also includes maintaining and updating departmental websites, supporting campus program review processes, managing the PASS operating budget, and assisting with travel and conference arrangements. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant handles administrative transactions in Workday and PaymentWorks, manages office equipment and supplies, and assists the director with preparing reports and drafting or revising administrative policies and procedures as needed.

This position interacts regularly with staff in the Provost's Office and campus stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role. Experience with administrative systems such as Workday and PaymentWorks is preferred.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Applicable equivalencies may be considered for the above qualification.

  • At least one year of experience in office administration or a related area

  • Demonstrated proficiency at an intermediate level in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), to include creating, formatting, and maintaining documents, tables, and reports effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • More than one year of experience in office administration

  • Experience with Workday and PaymentWorks

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong written/verbal communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to work with a wide variety of campus constituents

  • Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work, including accurately tracking data, maintaining records, and processing administrative tasks with consistency and precision

Salary Information:

$19,965 - $21,961 (commensurate with education and experience)
