ABOUT THE JOB The Project Manager II, Health System is responsible for managing and coordinating all work for medium and high-complexity projects while managing multiple cross-functional teams and providing strategic recommendations to shape strategy related to achieving project objectives. The Project Manager II, Health System will be also responsible for presenting status updates to health system executive leadership every week. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Manage the planning and implementation of projects for assigned areas of responsibility. Maintain all appropriate project deliverables and duties including, but not limited to timelines, project scheduling, task delegation, risk management, status reporting, and project health status presentations to leadership. Organize and facilitate project collaboration meetings across functional areas to ensure all project leaders are learning and connecting their work. Manage project execution throughout the entire lifecycle, from business plan development through project completion. Use a solution-oriented mindset to project challenges. Quickly align cross-functional teams to drive towards solutions and mitigation efforts to ensure projects stay on track. Make recommendations regarding project strategy to achieve project completion. Collaborate with the Director of Strategic Initiatives & Project Management and cross-functional team leads and provide regular, clear, and concise project updates to team leaders and health system executive leadership regarding timelines, project health status, risk identification and mitigation plans, budget tracking, and resources/capacity constraints. Drive transparent communication and collaboration with project team members, as well as cross-functional internal/external business partners to ensure successful on-time project delivery. Through collaboration with cross-functional and clinical team members build relationships and strive for continuous improvement processes. May complete unit/department-specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in project management, business, information technology, computer science, or a related area. Five (5) years of relevant experience within a healthcare system. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in health administration, business administration, health informatics, or a related area. Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
