Our Account Services Manager is an integral part of the Americas sales organization working to support sales efforts across Manhattan's extensive supply chain software products and services offerings. This role will assist in handling customer concerns, support inquiries, and renewals as well as identify and qualify additional sales opportunities. The individual in this role will work closely with our existing Sales Reps/ Managers on license deals, enhancing account coverage, and deepening relationships with existing clients. They will work to support the development of pipeline for additional products and services and have close contact with large 'Tier 1' accounts in conjunction with the Sales team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Manage customer relationships with established Tier 1 (Top 100) customers
  • Enhance and deepen account coverage and relationships
  • Develop relationships with senior level supply chain, stores and OMNI stakeholders
  • Back-sell services to "A" accounts working mainly with Professional Services Directors
  • Aid with Customer Support & Software Enhancements (CSSE) retention and renewals (ultimately SaaS renewals)
  • Develop SaaS and License fee pipeline for additional products to assign to Sales Reps
  • Expand licenses of existing products with assigned clients
  • Update and maintain client information in Salesforce.com
  • Ensure Manhattan Associates and customers are fulfilling contractual obligations
  • Partner with other departments to serve the customer and resolve issues
  • Maintain elevated level of customer satisfaction and loyalty with customers
  • Develop customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans
  • Collect annual maintenance fees for Manhattan's software products for all assigned accounts
  • Maintain client references

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS -

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or related degree
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working in a Professional Services Consulting or Marketing Demand Generation role
  • Experience building productive internal and external working relationships with Sales teams, Customer Support groups, Professional Services consultants, and stakeholders
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office products or similar software
  • Knowledge of professional selling strategies as well as knowledge of complex sales methodology
  • 2 years of experience implementing Manhattan products or selling strategic enterprise applications / technology; preferably supply chain is a plus
