Job Overview: Account Manager

Arena, a PTC Business, is seeking a driven Account Manager to cultivate strong customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and elevate customer satisfaction. You'll be the strategic point of contact for assigned accounts, leading initiatives to expand adoption, generate add-on sales, and close opportunities with precision.

Key Responsibilities

* Own and grow your book of business by identifying upsell, downsell, and renewal opportunities.

* Meet and exceed quarterly add-on ARR goals through expert negotiation and solution selling.

* Serve as a trusted advisor, proactively engaging with customers to understand needs and offer tailored Arena solutions.

* Execute and report on pipeline strategies using MEDDIC and Command the Message frameworks.

* Lead deal closure end-to-end: quoting via CPQ, collaborating with Deal Desk, and driving urgency.

* Partner cross-functionally to align internal resources and close deals faster.

* Maintain clean, current Salesforce records, opportunity forecasts, and "Steps to Close" for deals over $10K.

* Lead product discovery and demo sessions with Solution Consultants, tailored to customer use cases.

* Actively participate in sales enablement, coaching sessions, and virtual meetings with polished presentation.

Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in a SaaS environment as an Account Manager or Customer Success Manager, with a strong focus on revenue growth and relationship-building.

* Proven track record in sales, pipeline management, and closing deals in a SaaS or technical environment.

* Strong interpersonal skills with executive presence and customer-first mentality.

* Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ tools, Gainsight, and other sales tech platforms.

* Ability to travel up to 25% to support customer engagements and company events.

* Commitment to PTC Values, training milestones, and a collaborative, modern workforce.

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate's background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the annual salary range for this position to be between $130,000-150,000. The actual pay may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The anticipated annual salary range encompasses both the base salary and the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role. Additionally, every PTC employee has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase discounted PTC stock and, for eligible roles, an equity grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of PTC's benefits programs, employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave policies, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and a generous commuter subsidy.
