We are seeking a Fleet Dispatcher for our Ready-Mix & Block division at County Materials located in Astatula, FL.

Job Duties:


  • Receive and processes customer orders for ready-mix concrete and concrete blocks, ensuring accuracy in quantities, materials, delivery dates, addresses and any special instructions.
  • Coordinates timely delivery of concrete and other building materials to construction sites, meeting customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Maintains clear and consistent communication with drivers, sales representatives, customers, and internal teams.
  • Prioritizes teamwork, communication, and safety in all aspects of the role.
  • Addresses issues that arise during the delivery process, including traffic delays, last-minute changes, or customer concerns.
  • Assigns deliveries to drivers and enters daily schedules into Kronos.
  • Operates multi-line phone systems, two-way radios, and software tools for data entry and route coordination.
  • Performs general administrative duties.

  • Frequent Sitting.


Experience & Qualifications:


  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Previous experience in Ready-Mix/Block dispatching preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Adequate combination of education/service years/experience will be considered for the right candidate.
  • Familiar with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the trucking industry.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Assertive, self-motivated and positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail while performing a variety of tasks is a must.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Intermediate level in MS Office: Outlook, Excel and Word.
