The Department of Medicine is comprised of 11 Divisions by Medicine Subspecialty. The Finance unit is responsible for management of more than $20.5 million in unrestricted funds. This centralized unit provides expertise and financial management for budget allocations and clinical integration funds and division activities. Your Role on the Team Under the general supervision of the Division Administrator and the Finance Manager in the Department of Medicine, the incumbent is responsible for the direct analysis and management of financial activities for assigned division. Major duties include unrestricted funds management, budget monitoring, divisional budgeting, reconciliation of divisional accounts with accounting ledgers and financial account transfers, preparation of income statements for Division activities. Develop and maintain systems to assure conformity with UC accounting policies for reporting to Division Chief, Program Director and management in the Department. Utilize Decision Support Systems to generate reports, ensure data is accurately reported in the system. Audit and analyze data for assigned projects. Audit payroll reports for accuracy and take corrective action. What It Takes to be Successful Required:
