POSITION SPECIFICS

The Office of Enterprise Change and Transformation (EC&T) is seeking an Organizational Change Manager (Advanced Professional level), to oversee the strategic and tactical organizational change management (OCM) of projects related to the President's strategic plan. The primary focus of this role is to focus on the people impacts of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures. This role will create and implement change management plans that minimize employee resistance, maximize employee engagement and business value.

This position will support and lead OCM in large scale projects, partner with leaders regularly to discuss findings, provide OCM recommendations, analyze data and report on OCM project goals. This position will report to the manager of the organizational change management team within the EC&T office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people impacts of change caused by process and technology implementations. This will involve leading OCM on both large- and small-scale projects.
  • Implement the change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change
  • Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
  • Develop and conduct needs assessments and surveys
  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner
  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans collaboratively with project sponsor and change leader for each project- including providing input into the communication plan, sponsor roadmap, stakeholder assessment, training plan and resistance management plan
  • Support the execution of OCM plans and provide direct support and coaching to employee-facing managers and business leaders
  • Work with project teams to integrate organizational change management activities into the overall project plan
  • Determine impact of OCM programs and develop alternative strategies as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the OCM manager and team to continually develop and improve the offices processes and outputs

Who we are looking for:

Experience and/or education in OCM required, with additional experience in project management and business analysis preferred. The ideal candidate will be motivated and comfortable with being a self-starter, managing their own time effectively and efficiently, and working independently, while also exceling in a collaborative team environment.

The location of this position is flexible and can operate fully remote within the United States (restrictions may apply), fully in-person at our University Park Campus, or in a hybrid model of both in-person and remote (restrictions may apply). Standard working hours are in the eastern time zone.

The Office of Enterprise Change and Transformation is supportive of flexible work arrangements when aligned with the ability to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $68,200.00 - $102,300.00.
