As a Service Manager, you'll be the leader of a major maintenance enterprise. You'll have the opportunity to hire and motivate an amazing team of Service Technicians. You'll continually improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired. You will work closely with the Branch Manager, and help build a profitable location with your leadership, service and maintenance knowledge, and business management.

What you'll do:
  • Motivate, coach and train technicians to exceed time & quality standards and comply with standard repair and maintenance processes
  • Staff location adequately based on skills and workload
  • Responsible for R&M, P&L and associated costs/budget
  • Lead, plan, measure and continuous improvement of all service and maintenance performance metrics
  • Oversee parts department activities, to ensure optimal customer service, technician/shops/OEC productivity and cost control
  • Evaluate performance and promotability of team members. Identify and provide necessary skills training and regular coaching
  • Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication
  • Other duties assigned as needed


Requirements:
  • High School diploma required; trade-school degree a plus; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Extensive Equipment Fleet Maintenance and leadership experience
  • 5 years' service and maintenance experience and a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
  • Strong motivational and leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance accounting and P&L
  • Basic computer skills (Excel)

Responsabilites complementaires(liste non exhaustive):
  • Motiver, encadrer et former les techniciens pour depasser les normes de temps et de qualite et se conformer aux processus de reparation et d'entretien standard
  • Repartition des membres du personnel, en fonction des competences et de la charge de travail.
  • Responsable du R&M, des profits et des pertes et des couts/budget associes
  • Direction, planification, mesure et amelioration continuelle de toutes les mesures de rendement de service et d'entretien
  • Supervision des activites du service des pieces, pour assurer un service a la clientele optimal, une productivite superieure des techniciens/ateliers/du cout d'origine de l'equipement et un controle maximal des couts
  • Evaluation du rendement et des possibilites de promotion des membres du service Identification et organisation des formations techniques necessaires t accompagnement constant par des sean
  • Promotion d'une culture de securite et de discipline par le biais de leadership, respect individuel exemplaire des normes de securite, sens de la responsabilite et communication
  • Autres responsabilites en fonction des besoins
Exigences du poste:
  • Diplome d'etudes secondaires requis; Diplome d'ecole de commerce est un atout; Baccalaureat preferable
  • Permis de conduire en cours de validite et dossier de conduite acceptable
  • Vaste experience en entretien de flotte d'equipement et en leadership
  • Cinq ans d'experience en service et entretien et un minimum de 3ans d'experience en supervision
  • Solides aptitudes en leadership et capacite poussee a motiver les gens
  • Competences superieures en service a la clientele
  • Connaissances importantes en comptabilite d'entretien et du compte de resultat d'une entreprise de location
  • Competences de base en informatique, en particulier avec Microsoft Excel
