We are working with a growing $15M yarn importer with global suppliers across Asia and three warehouses in the US, is seeking a sharp, motivated Sales & Logistics Coordinator to join our Memphis office. What's In It For You: Competitive base salary: $50-65K + annual company performance bonus (typically ~$20K) 100% company-paid health coverage for you and your family 401(k) with 3% match Flexibility for life - we're in-office M-F, but we understand kids, appointments, and home repairs happen $15/month on-site gym Opportunity to learn the full cycle of international shipping, supply chain, and sales High visibility and variety - you'll work directly with the owner and across departments What You'll Do: You'll wear multiple hats, handling both logistics operations and customer service responsibilities. Key tasks include: Issue purchase orders and shipping instructions to overseas vendors Coordinate with our freight brokers and steamship lines Monitor international freight markets (spot vs. contract) and duty rates Track and trace containers and update our Visco inventory system Open letters of credit, manage delivery orders, and assist with year-end audits Work side by side with our sales, bookkeeping, and warehouse teams Jump in wherever needed - from answering phones to special projects What We're Looking For: A smart, proactive problem solver - someone who can think faster than the boss and bring new ideas to the table Excellent communication and organizational skills - you'll be coordinating with vendors across time zones Strong Excel skills - if pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and spreadsheets don't scare you, you'll thrive here Basic understanding of logistics, freight rates, Incoterms, ETDs/ETAs - import/export or international business experience is a big plus Familiarity with QuickBooks or Visco is helpful but not required A team player who enjoys wearing many hats and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Ideal Profile: An International Business or Supply Chain Management grad with 1-3 years in logistics, freight forwarding, or global trade - or someone with the drive to learn quickly.
