Varied Shift Start times: Primary shift is 7PM - 5:45AM

  • Start time and shift hours will vary based on DC training needs and/or trainee's schedule.

  • The individual must be willing to work in any department when there are no associates to train.

  • OT as required.

Internal Candidates must be: 1) Candidate must be in good standing in current position (No corrective actions greater than verbal); 2) a minimum of 2 years McKesson operations experience preferred. 3) in existing role, a min of 6 months

Minimum Requirement: Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.

Language (verbal and written): English required. Bilingual in Hakha Chin or Spanish desirable

Process Knowledge

  • Responsible for training associate in:

  • Outbound processes, including Picking and packing for LUM (ASR, PTL), Food Town, Coolers and Bulk; Induction; SWOG; QC Check Stations; Dock processes (strapping, direct trailer loading); Replenishments

  • Inbound processes, including Receiving, Put Away, Replens, Cycle Counts and Returns

  • McKesson Learning Portal and other Group Courses

  • Requirements include a minimum of 2 years McKesson or similar DC experience preferred with working knowledge desired of at least 2 main outbound functions (i.e. Bulk Picking, Replenishments, Lower Unit of Measurement Picking).

  • Candidate must be able to learn and perform outbound and inbound functions in which they are not proficient.

  • Must be able to operate and become certified as a PIT Operator and Crown Trainer on MHE equipment including order picker, reach truck and a pallet rider

Critical skills:

  • Critical thinking skills - root cause analysis

  • Basic Math - add/subtract/multiply/divide

  • Good Documentation Practices - follow, and have neat documentation

  • Good Communication skills:

  • speak with individuals to explain processes

  • ability to train to SOPs and observe trainees following SOPs, while making observation notes of both what doing well and opportunities for improvement

  • PC use - basic data entry, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams

  • E1/RF/RF web - look up product info, locations, cycle count history; use RF unit

Education:

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent

$17.79 - $29.65
