Job Summary Restaurant Associates is seeking a dynamicSous Chefto join our culinary leadership team at Atrium Health's new campus. In this role, you will be responsible formenu creation, ordering, menu quantification, and leading a team.You will work closely with theComplex Executive Chefto deliver exceptional catering experiences that meet client expectations and uphold the highest culinary standards. This position will initially operate out of acommissary kitchenuntil the on-site kitchen is complete. A valid driver's license is required for this role. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the overall success of the catering program by overseeing daily culinary operations and ensuring adherence to client standards and health regulations. Develop and create catering menus, accurately quantify menu items, and manage product ordering to meet event and client needs. Lead, train, and motivate ateam, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and food safety. Maintain cost controls and track expenditures to meet financial goals. Coordinate and participate in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items for a variety of catered events. Roll out new culinary programs in partnership with the culinary and marketing teams. Operate from a commissary location until the on-site kitchen is completed, ensuring seamless catering operations. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of culinary experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role. Strong background incatering, hotels, healthcare, or corporate diningenvironments. Knowledge of current culinary and industry trends, including menu development, production, sanitation, and cost control. Proficiency in inventory management, ordering, andproduction planning. Strong leadership, training, and coaching abilities. Valid driver's licenserequired. ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
