You will be based on site at our Anderson, SC location. The shift will start at 2:00 pm and end at 10:30 pm. This role supports the production line and will follow production's needs.

Your main tasks:

• Maintain customer service counter.
• Stock incoming freight from small and large parcel carriers.
• Prepare inbound parts, tooling and consumables for stocking and distribution.
• Assist the Tool Crib Supervisor, and other Tool Crib personnel with the needs of the plant.
• Keep the tool crib organized for ease of locating of parts and supplies.
• Performs and follows all 5S plant standards and requirements.
• Maintain organization and a clean working environment.
• Deliver tools, parts, and PPE to various departments by hand, forklift or using a hand truck when needed.
• Assist the MRO receiving department with the receiving/transport of goods when necessary.
• Mark and identify defective tools, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree, High School Diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Basic Computer, Office, Excel, and keyboarding skills.
• Organizational Skills, understanding and knowledge of 5S.
• Be dependable, self-driven, self-motivated, and goal oriented.
• Previous tool crib experience in fast paced manufacturing environment a plus.
• Must be mechanically inclined and be able to identify a variation of machine components.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
• Be able to use hand tools in a safe and proper way (Drills, hammer, screwdrivers, pry bar, power tools, etc.)
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate machines properly and safely.
• Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect parts.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
• Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending
• Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet
