Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Designer with a strong cybersecurity focus to support the design, documentation, and compliance review of telecommunications, security, audiovisual, wireless, and control systems for U.S. government and military construction projects, including those governed by USACE specifications. This role plays a critical part in delivering secure, resilient designs that meet stringent government and DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Page is a multidisciplinary design, architecture, and engineering firm with staff across the U.S. and internationally. We work on technically complex, mission-driven projects that directly impact national security, public infrastructure, and defense operations.

Cybersecurity & USACE-Focused Design
  • Develop cybersecurity design criteria and specifications aligned with DoD, NIST, and USACE UFC/UFGS standards.
  • Support and review government submittals, including cybersecurity sections of shop drawings, cut sheets, and system specifications.
  • Ensure design documentation aligns with contract requirements, control system cybersecurity guidance, and RMF/IA controls.
  • Participate in cybersecurity-related submittal reviews, pre-coordination meetings, and technical clarifications with stakeholders and contracting officers.
Technical ICT Design & Documentation
  • Prepare construction documents for telecommunications, security, audiovisual, wireless, and cyber systems.
  • Support the development of contract drawings and Division 27/28/25/01 specifications for secure and unsecure ICT environments.
  • Contribute to cyber-informed risk assessments, threat modeling, and specification authoring.
BIM & Modeling
  • Utilize Revit, CAD, Bluebeam Revu, and other design tools to model secure ICT environments.
  • Perform clash detection (Navisworks) with a focus on routing secure cabling and device locations.
Construction Administration
  • Conduct on-site inspections, commissioning, and cybersecurity-specific submittal review.
  • Manage RFIs and submittals with attention to cybersecurity and low voltage systems compliance.
  • Evaluate documentation for compliance with cybersecurity governance including Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, Facilities-Related Control Systems Risk Management Framework and others to meet project cyber security goals.
Coordination and Communication
  • Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and government stakeholders to ensure cyber-related requirements are fully integrated into design and/or proposal documentation
  • Draft and maintain detailed cybersecurity narratives and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

Education / Experience
  • Associate degree (or equivalent) in Engineering Technology, OR
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant ICT or cybersecurity-related experience.
Technical Experience
  • At least one (1) year of experience in designing, maintaining, or implementing secure ICT systems, including telecom, security, AV, or wireless systems in government environments.
  • Familiarity with ISP/OSP telecom design, secure equipment rooms, cabling pathways, and control system cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience in DoD project environments, with working knowledge of UFC 4-010-06, UFGS 25 05 11, and RMF frameworks preferred.
Cybersecurity Certifications (Required - at least one)
  • GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership Certification)
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CAP (Certified Authorization Professional)
Additional Preferred Certifications
  • BICSI RCDD
  • AVIXA CTS-D
  • ASIS PSP
  • DoD IAM Level II or III certification equivalents
Other Requirements
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build).
  • Willingness to travel (<5%) for site surveys and team coordination meetings.
