Job Title: Audio Visual Technician Territory: Columbus, OH Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate: Hourly Pay Schedule: Weekly Position Summary: We are seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join our expert team of designers, engineers, and technicians. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong experience in commercial audio/visual system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. The position offers the opportunity to lead projects and grow into a permanent role. Key Responsibilities: * Lead AV installation projects from start to finish. * Coordinate with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Installation & Configuration * Install and configure commercial-grade AV systems including displays, projectors, speakers, and control systems. * Mount and align displays, screens, and projectors with precision. Cabling & Termination * Run and terminate HDMI, Cat6, and fiber optic cables. * Maintain clean and organized cable management. System Integration * Program and integrate control systems (Crestron, QSC). * Configure DSP audio systems and calibrate audio equipment. Documentation & Quality Assurance * Create and maintain installation documentation including wiring diagrams and configuration settings. * Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
