JOB SUMMARY The Business Development Manager will work with other members of the Office for Technology Development to facilitate and accelerate the commercial adoption of technologies developed at UT Southwestern Medical Center. They will perform market research on the competitive landscape, identify potential licensees, communicate opportunities effectively to external partners, and support the formation and growth of UT Southwestern startup companies. This role requires the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to advance the development of technologies and support the growing North Texas biotech ecosystem BENEFITS
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
5 years of experience in technology transfer or biotechnology Education may be used in lieu of experience.
An advanced degree in science or business is a distinct advantage PhD in Life Sciences or Biomedical Sciences is preferred. JOB DUTIES
