Perform all manufacturing processes to complete finished products in the assigned work area. Responsibilities include fabrication operations on stainless and carbon steel components using CNC machinery, robotic systems, lasers, brake presses, and finishing tools. Technicians are expected to demonstrate increasing skill, autonomy, and leadership across five progressive levels.

Position Summary:

Sheet Metal Technicians perform complex fabrication tasks to support the manufacturing of Sentry products. Duties include setup, operation, and troubleshooting of machines and tools, as well as quality checks using precision instruments. Advancement through levels I-V is based on a structured training matrix, skill mastery, and contributions to department leadership and training.

• Set up and operate CNC machines, robotic systems, brake presses, and finishing equipment.
• Fabricate stainless and carbon steel parts according to specifications.
• Perform layout work, inspections, and final checks using measuring instruments and templates.
• Interpret engineering drawings and models for fabrication tasks.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and lifting devices (as certified).
• Follow all safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
