Job Summary: The Production Services Manager leads the pre-planning, logistics, resource allocation, accounting, and the onsite management of large-scale and production-level events at the venue. The Production Services Manager may also fill Show Operator positions. As an embedded Production Services team member, the Production Manager may be called upon to work on production-level events outside of the venue when their services are not required at the venue, with their salary being allocated to that department for the duration of the project. Essential Functions: * Collaborate with the venue team and relevant corporate level production resources to plan and execute production-level events in accordance with Pinnacle Live's production standards * Serve as the on-site point of contact for project planning, production site visits and event execution * Identify and train Event Services Technicians and Senior Event Services Technicians so that they can serve as competent show operators on production-level events * Identify and maintain relationships with local labor brokers and subrental vendors to maintain Pinnacle Live's access to partners that can assist with production-level event execution * Create detailed production schedules and define cadence of deliverables for each project * Assist in obtaining quotes from qualified sub-rental vendors as necessary * Prepare and implement a project budget including pre-event estimates and post-event actuals * Function as a production subject matter expert * Source appropriate equipment and staffing levels for production-level events with a focus on utilizing in-house resources whenever possible to reduce costs * Translate client requests into holistic production visions and identify opportunities to capture additional revenue in the sales process * Generate CAD files as needed for projects to demonstrate the accurate scale of production elements including, but not limited to, staging, lighting, projection, audio, and cable pathing * Calculate power consumption of production components to ensuring adequate power, coordinating with the Power Services department as necessary to engage additional resources * Assist with Rigging Services requests on production-level events * Manage in-house, third-party, and/or union laborers to set, operate, and strike large productions * Perform other related duties as assigned Education & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in related field or industry experience equivalency * Three (3) years of Technical Production experience * Ability to interpret floor plans and three-dimension drawings * Vectorworks proficiency preferred Required Skills & Knowledge: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed herein are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Strong written and verbal skills necessary to complete assigned tasks and excellent project management skills a must * Excellent understanding of signal flow and technical troubleshooting skills * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills * Strong understanding of basic electrical theory and principals * Strong understanding of basic Rigging standards and practices * Strong supervisory and leadership skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate * Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to execute productions that are more complex in nature in which judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations * Demonstrated proficiency with CAD software (Vectorworks, AutoCAD, etc.) * Demonstrated proficiency with industry standard project management software (Clickup, Monday.com, Asana, etc.) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
