Position Overview: This position will provide support to the national Seeds of Success program, assisting the Seeds of Success Senior Curator and Senior GIS Analyst in program planning, training, coordination, and day-to-day program management. Position is remote-eligible. Position will generally follow Mountain Time working hours. Some occasional travel may be required. Responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Key Cooperative Relationships: Chicago Botanic Garden and BLM and other Department of the Interior agency staff; SOS cooperators; federal, state, and regional land managers; conservation, stewardship, and restoration groups. Qualifications Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in botany, ecology, natural resources, or similar subject; or equivalent work experience. General knowledge of native plants, land management, and ecological restoration. Strong communication (written and verbal) and organization skills, data and project management experience, and desire to work with a diverse group of collaborators. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ESRI products, including ArcGIS Online, Survey123, and Field Maps. Valid driver's license required. Preferred qualifications: Experience with data analysis, database management, and report writing. Experience teaching or training. Physical Demands: Why Apply?
