Job Duties/Responsibilities: * Splice fiber optic cables (loose tube and ribbon types). * Build and seal splice cases with proper grounding and cable storage. * Read work orders, drawings, and instructions to plan your work. * Follow industry and safety standards (like BICSI). * Keep accurate records of work done inside and outside buildings. * Help with permits, engineering, and construction tasks. * Do regular maintenance and fix cable route issues. * Connect cables to buildings, poles, and equipment. * Respond to outages and emergencies when needed. * Work safely and follow all rules and regulations. * Be okay working outside in all kinds of weather. * Fill out daily reports and update project drawings. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
