Overview

This position is a seasoned client-facing role that leads the sales process and ongoing management of the private banking tailored loan portfolio. Works closely with the advisor team to profile client scenarios, develops solutions for liquidity challenges, leads client presentations, negotiates deal terms, and oversees the loan underwriting and documentation process. Consistently works independently with the highest profile private bank clients. Maintains relationships with other senior sales associates across the Bank and develops strategy to win client opportunities. Has experience working with high-net-worth individuals and understands the nuances of complex financial profiles. Is responsible for contributing to key business objectives including growth and profitability.


Responsibilities

  • Analysis, Underwriting, & Presentations - Analyzes client financial scenarios, validates underwriting of junior associates, and frequently presents loan proposals to credit administration and other decision makers at the Bank.
  • Sales & Business Development - Leads client meetings to assess opportunities for tailored lending, effectively communicates the Bank's approach to lending and wealth management, speaks with clients throughout the loan process, and participates in business development events.
  • Portfolio Management - Works with credit administration and other key partners on the largest borrowing exposures in the tailored lending loan portfolio.
  • Collaboration - Works with senior sales associates, operations, and credit administration to deliver positive client experiences and mentors junior team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services

Preferred Education: Bachelor's DegreePreferred Area of Study: Business or Finance, Underwriting Skills, Knowledge of Corporate Entity Structures, Knowledge of Private Bank Loan and Borrowing Structures, Financial Modeling, Income, Asset & Liability Analysis, Knowledge of Venture Capital, Private Equity and Executive Compensation
