Under the general supervision of the Director of the Information School (iSchool), teach the following course in a classroom format for the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year.

  • LIS 640 Topics in Information Science: Services to Diverse Populations in Morgridge Hall B2556 on Fridays 1:20 - 3:50pm.

This position is part-time, 33.4%

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates classroom instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
  • Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
  • Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations

Compensation:

Minimum academic salary: $50,113 at 33.4% time for a total of $8,411.

Required Qualifications:

  • Significant experience serving diverse populations in a Library or Information setting.

  • Knowledge of such topics as equity of access, cultural competence, and community engagement.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching graduate students.

Education:
  • Minimum of a Master's degree in Library and Information Studies or related field.
