Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Customer Service Representative
Location: Schaumburg, IL (Hybrid - in-office once a week) Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Direct Hire Position Summary: We are seeking a Japanese Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join a well-established professional services company in Schaumburg, IL. This hybrid position (with one day per week in the office) is ideal for individuals with strong administrative or clerical experience who enjoy providing excellent support to clients and internal teams. The role involves managing client communications, coordinating documentation, and supporting account activities. Comprehensive training will be provided, and the company supports employees in obtaining industry-related certifications for career growth. Key Responsibilities': Process service requests and updates from business clients Review and manage client-facing documentation for accuracy Maintain organized digital and physical client files Coordinate with service providers and vendors to gather necessary information Manage internal and external correspondence, including incoming/outgoing mail Support onboarding and follow-up activities for new client accounts Ensure accurate billing and data entry related to client transactions Escalate unique issues to supervisors as needed Qualifications: Japanese bilingual skills required (business-level fluency in reading, writing, and speaking) Prior clerical or administrative experience required Customer service experience in a business setting preferred Interest in developing professional skills, including a certification in business-related services (training provided) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong math and analytical abilities Valid driver's license and ability to visit client sites occasionally using personal vehicle.
