We are searching for a new member of the Meijer family! When you join us as a Food Clerk, you will provide customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. You will play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly and having a positive impact on the community we serve. Sound good to you? Join us!

What will you be doing?

• * Certified to operate powered equipment (preferred).
  * Accurately receive all product entering the building (except for SBT items).
  * Retains all invoices and paperwork according to record retention policies.
  * Execute product flow processes, including VCBs, FedEx, Reverse Logistics, Haz Waste, Throwaways, Transfers, ReSlots, and NDRs.
  * Maintain central salvage planogram.
  * Maintain friendly professional relationships with all vendors and drivers.
  * Responsible for return trailer conditions; responsible for ensuring all dairy crates, ART totes, pallets, and othersupplies are sent back to the DF in a timely manner to ensure optimal product flow back to stores.
  * In charge of receiving door security during shift.
  * Process all recalls during shift hours as a priority.
  * Process NDRs and media returns as received.
  * Check transfers daily and follow up for proper receipt.
