Come join our Venice Family Clinic and utilize your expertise to make a difference in the communities we serve. The Manager of Advancement Services will receive guidance and direction from the Director of Development, Individual and Corporate Philanthropy, and will play an important role in achieving the Clinic's ambitious fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Advancement Services team.
  • Supporting development and overall external affairs efforts.
  • Managing our Salesforce CRM, including research and prospect management, gift processing, reporting, and data management.
  • Working closely with external affairs department leads and staff to segment donor lists for successful campaigns.
  • Building research resources and maintaining robust portfolios.
  • Designing and preparing complex reports.
  • Training and development of advancement services staff on optimal use of the Salesforce data system.
  • Staff supervision.

Note this position has a fixed hybrid schedule that requires the person to work fully on-site for the first 3 months initially; afterward, it will require on-site work 2 days per week.

Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $76,200 - $158,800 Annual. The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is about $76,200 - $85,000 Annual.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience with advancement services/fundraising, with emphasis on data analytics
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience supervising and motivating staff and volunteers
  • Thorough knowledge and proven ability in prospect research techniques, tools, and data analysis
  • Strong technical skills in utilizing CRM applications and plugins (and other complex data systems and tools) to extract and analyze information, generate reports, and co-develop strategies to improve department fundraising
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with staff; ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong project management skills, planning and ability to manage multiple priorities and think critically in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in prioritizing assignments to complete assigned projects in a timely and thorough manner
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to convey information with accuracy and diplomacy
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, and the ability to travel between sites as needed

Preferred:

  • Thorough knowledge and proven ability in Salesforce CRM gift processing, data management, analytics and reporting
