Position: Grant Manager Assistant, Cardiology Research

Location: Boston, MA

Schedule: 20 hours per week, Remote

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Grant Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Financial Grant Analyst in managing and processing grant-related activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintain shadow budgets and various Excel spreadsheets for the Cardiovascular Medicine section
  • Support the Grant Manager in gathering documents for annual progress and financial reports across all projects
  • Review and process invoices. Help maintain clinical trial data for our research core
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, scanning, copying, and filing. Gain hands-on experience in grant budgeting and financial tracking
  • Learn about the grant lifecycle and how funding supports institutional and academic initiatives
  • Develop professional communication, project coordination, and financial documentation skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • BS in Business or related field

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years of work experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:


  • The Individual should have strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of analytical ability and capable of communicating effectively, both verbally and written
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong deductive reasoning skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are required
