HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION
The Human Resources Data Specialist is responsible for HRIS data integrity in support of HR operations. This position reports to the Senior Total Rewards Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO



  • Responsible for entering all employee record changes into the HRIS system while ensuring accuracy and completion in preparation for auditory procedures. This includes assisting in any employee change import processes in the HRIS system in conjunction with the other HR teams.
  • Responsible for entering union dues and union fee information into the HRIS system. Collecting dues check-off forms and associated reporting/communication with the union. Create/Run/Maintain a variety of basic reports to prepare for internal and external audits. Assists business partners with basic ad hoc report requests, as assigned by Senior Total Rewards Manager
  • Oversee administration and maintenance of the job description platform, while ensuring high levels of data integrity.
  • Provides overall data administrative support to the HR department.
  • Responsible for creating/maintaining jobs and job assignments in the HRIS system.
  • Performing analysis and data for compensation discipline.
  • Assist internal business partners to run necessary reports, fill in data gaps, and benefits billing reconciliation


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Candidate with prior experience working with Unions and HRIS systems highly preferred. This role will need someone who can have strong attention to detail, stay organized with multiple tasks/projects all at once, and be able to work under little supervision to complete tasks.

JOB EXPERIENCE



  • Must have one year experience in an HR data role required


EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma required



SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE



  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and make it easy to understand.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Proficient with or the ability to learn HRIS, payroll or other management software.
