Job Duties:
This position in the Department of Economics, a large and complex department in the College of Letters & Science, plays a critical role in enhancing student career readiness and post-graduation outcomes by offering individualized career advising, running professional development programming, and cultivating meaningful employer relationships. The Economics Career Development Office (ECDO) Career & Outreach Manager takes the lead in developing, expanding, and maintaining relationships with employers across relevant industries with the goal of connecting students with internship, project-based, and full-time employment opportunities. The successful candidate will be a proactive and student-centered professional with a collaborative mindset and a knack for developing mutually beneficial employer partnerships. Letters & Science/Department of Economics Compensation:The typical starting salary for this position is $57,000 - $75,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Employees in this position can expect to receive benefits such as generous vacation, holidays and paid time off; competitive insurance and saving accounts; and retirement benefits.
