Summary:

The Technical Support Intern will assist the Technical Service team in providing high-quality support to customers, distributors, and internal personnel. This internship offers hands-on experience in technical support, troubleshooting, product selection, and real world applications, while learning about Georg Fischer and our full product line.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

*Provide support to the Technical Service team in responding to customer inquiries via phone, email & website.
*Documenting technical issues and resolutions in the CRM system.
*Hands on product evaluations, assemblies and testing.
*Support the creation and organization of technical documentation, training materials, and troubleshooting guides.
*Participate in basic product testing, calibration, and minor repairs under supervision.
*Assist in writing technical articles and application notes for internal and external use.
*Shadow field service representatives during customer site visits (as appropriate).
*Help track commitments and follow up with customers regarding service requests.
*Collaborate with team members to maintain and improve internal documentation and procedures.
*Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for improving customer support and service delivery.
*Committed to the protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers and neighbors.
*Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our Environmental Management System (EMS).
*All other duties as assigned.
