Join us!This position is located in the organization's corporate office and is responsible for external financial compliance reporting, including maintenance of debt covenant calculations, drafting of MD&A, and other reporting for AVP/Controller and CFO review and analysis. This position provides support for investor calls and annual meetings with rating agency; debt capacity analysis support; bond financing support; backup for pro formas for master planning; strategic pricing support, including working with FP&A on annual pricing rollout after budget; cost report preparation and audit support; accounting for complex transactions e.g. acquisitions and bond financings; preparation of external audit reports (liquid reserves, consolidating schedules, footnote support); year-end state compliance reports; annual surveys; ad-hoc accounting research/documentation/response preparation. All functions are performed in accordance with policies, procedures, and governmental regulations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage external reporting function, including quarterly and annual reporting for bonds; support for investor calls/rating agency calls; and other reporting as requested.
  • Support annual cost report process in conjunction with external consultant; includes support for audits as necessary.
  • Support bond financings.
  • Complete pro formas for master planning in conjunction with FP&A.
  • Support strategic pricing initiative, including working with FP&A on annual pricing rollout after budget.
  • Prepare other external reports, including liquid reserves; certain audit schedules; year-end compliance reports; annual Ziegler survey; and other surveys as requested.
  • Support annual debt capacity analysis, working with CFO and others as necessary.
  • Provide support for complex accounting transactions e.g. acquisitions and affiliations and bond financings.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Required Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree
  • Certificate(s): CPA License Preferred
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years public accounting experience strongly preferred.
    • 5+ years of accounting experience required.
    • Senior living experience strongly preferred.
    • Workday experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The majority of time is spent in an office setting. The position requires occasional handling of lightweight materials and physical ability to use the telephone, computer and keyboard, printer and other office equipment.

Compensation Pay Range:

$112,400.00 - $161,225.00

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $112,400.00 - $161,225.00. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
