Job Title: Staff IT Analyst III

What you'll do: We are seeking a skilled and adaptable IT Analyst to join our Corporate Systems team. This role is critical in supporting enterprise initiatives across departments such as Marketing, Risk Management, and Human Resources. You will work closely with business partners and technical teams to analyze needs, design solutions, and ensure the effective implementation and support of systems and data processes. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, systems thinker, and problem solver who can bridge the gap between business goals and technology capabilities.
- Collaborate with business partners to identify challenges, gather requirements, and design effective systems solutions.
- Lead interviews and workshops to document current and future state processes in partnership with product owners and stakeholders.
- Track and manage business and technical objectives across multiple initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Corporate Systems processes and data structures, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Document business and technical requirements using a variety of modeling techniques such as user stories, process flows, and system diagrams.
- Support data governance efforts by mapping data sources and contributing to enterprise data catalog initiatives.
- Maintain and update system documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for both technical and business users.
- Coordinate with technology teams to manage dependencies, resolve issues, and support the delivery of enhancements and fixes.
- Provide ongoing support for existing solutions, including troubleshooting, user support, and continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll need:
- 7+ years of experience in banking, business analysis, or IT operations roles.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Experience in requirements gathering and documentation using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Lucidchart, and/or Confluence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience working with content management systems (CMS), particularlyDrupalandAcquiaplatforms.
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes including incident, change, and problem management.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments; familiarity with Agile methodologies is helpful but not required.
- Intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Advanced in process and data analysis within a specific domain or functional area utilizing demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Advanced working in Microsoft Office & relevant Diagramming Software (e.g. Lucid, Visio, etc.), as well as technical aptitude & experience within a specific domain.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
- Occasional travel required.
