NPR seeks to hire a dynamic, experienced, and mission-driven Senior Director of Development Operations to lead NPR Development in establishing best practice operating policies, procedures, and strategy. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer and serving as a member of the divisional leadership team, the Senior Director of Development Operations will manage the prospect research, database, donor data and donor services teams. In addition, this role is the primary liaison to the Finance and Legal departments; overseeing departmental expense reconciliation and revenue forecasting, gift agreement development and will inform fundraising strategy. The Senior Director will help shape the department's strategic vision alongside divisional leadership and oversee measuring and analyzing donor and income trends to make data-backed decisions. With the recent launch of the NPR Network, there is room to expand NPR's pipeline development efforts and create new avenues of donor potential through annual and mid-level giving. Strong candidates will possess significant database, systems, strategy, and analysis experience, and possess knowledge of the unique philanthropic demands of a team overseeing gifts from various sources - direct response through principal giving. COMPENSATION Salary Range: The U.S. based anticipated salary range for this opportunity is $140,000-165,000 plus benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salaries NPR expects to provide for new hires for the position across all US locations. Benefits: NPR offers access to comprehensive benefits for employees and dependents. Regular, full-time employees scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week are eligible to enroll in NPR's benefits options. Benefits include access to health and wellness, paid time off, and financial well-being. Plan options include medical, dental, vision, life/ accidental death and dismemberment, long-term disability, short-term disability, and voluntary retirement savings to all eligible NPR employees.
