Job Description Summary

Sr. Specialist, Communications

Sunbelt's Sr. Specialist, Communications is equipped for success so we can make it happen for our customers.

The Sr. Specialist, Communications role will be empowered to be a key member of the Communications team. They will be responsible for developing, contributing and supporting execution of internal and external communication strategies and plans that protect and promote Sunbelt Rentals' reputation. The right candidate will be a strong writer who is very organized. They will be successful when they are collaborating with their business partners and communications team colleagues. They must be flexible and resilient in a fast-paced environment.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of communications experience, including experience in internal communications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you will rely on or develop:
Managing performance-based, analytics-driven communications programs (being able to link communications programs to business results and employee engagement)
Digital focused, business-savvy to work across all levels of organization, including the most senior levels, within the company
Embracing change, adapting strategies on the fly, and work in a matrix environment that is rapidly changing where ambiguity and short turnaround schedules are the norm

Sunbelt also provides a comprehensive benefits package to its full-time employees. This package includes health, dental and vision plans, 401(k), volunteer time off, short-term and long-term disability, accident, life and travel insurance, as well as flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, college savings, EAP and length of service awards. You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following time off from work, subject to Sunbelt's policies: twelve to twenty-five vacation days depending on years of service; five sick days; six paid holidays, two paid half day holidays, two floating holidays, one inclusion day, and one volunteer day (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement).
