Brief Summary of Work for this Position |
This position will assist the Director of Men's Basketball Operations with oversight of the men's basketball program, emphasizing on student-athletes' well-being. The position will assist the Director of Men's Basketball Operations in coordinating academic programs and resident life. Applicant should also be proficient in video editing, including compiling scouting reports and game plans. The position will assist the Director of Men's Basketball Operations in the scheduling of all practices, games, and team travel for the men's basketball program and in developing, monitoring, and performing within the program budget. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
The position requires graduation from a four-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with student-athletes. Experience working in a college athletic environment and possessing excellent written and oral communication skills, able to analyze and interpret policy and procedural guidelines to resolve problems and questions specific to collegiate athletic teams. Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to coordinate multiple efforts/ projects at one time, and demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of individuals including students, parents, university faculty and staff, community members, and vendors. |
