 Join Arcfield's rapidly expanding team of Cyber professionals! We are seeking talented Mid-level Cyber Systems Engineers - Delegated Authorizing Official Representative (DAO-R), to provide critical Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support for a prestigious National customer. Note: An offer for this position is contingent upon contract award. 
 In this role, working under only general directions, you'll contribute to enhancing the Information Assurance (IA) posture through: 
 
  IA ManagementFederal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) coordination and reportingRisk Management Framework (RMF) applicationIA compliance measurements and metricsAssessment and Authorization (A&A)Vulnerability ManagementCyber Defense support 
 Daily tasks include, but not limited to: 
 
  Supporting adherence to ICD-503 and customer specific directives/policies through the lifecycle (RMF 1-6) of customer sponsored assetsProviding risk recommendations after reviewing sponsored asset overall risk posture as part of Authority to Operate (ATO) RMF processSupporting/managing/tracking customer sponsored assets' plan of action and milestones (POAMs) by working with various security stakeholders (ISSO/ISSE/ISSM/SCA) post authorizationScreening new asset requests to ensure sponsorship and information system owner identificationFacilitation support to the System Review Team to ensure that new/existing customer sponsored assets have the correct project regulation, data type/C-I-A impact assignments, and overlay assignments as well (with customer signoff)Understanding of assigning asset security controls and levy asset specific liens on controls for which the program did not meet during accreditor reviewsEnsure customer sponsored assets maintain their security postures in accordance with customer identified Continuous Monitoring (RMF step 6) directives and policiesProvide continuous ad hoc authorization-related daily support to both customer and programs Qualifications
 
 
 Required: 
 BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2Must possess and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI with PolyAvailability to work in a SCIF environment during core hours (0900-1500; Mon - Fri)Proven experience with RMF Process and NIST 800-53 technical controlsExpertise in certification and accreditation documentationProficiency with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud) and Cloud Security groupsSkilled in vulnerability management tools and Splunk reportingStrong teamwork and collaboration abilities  Desired: 
 STEM degree or advanced IA certification DoD 8570 certification in IAT or IAMSelf-motivated with organizational and prioritization skillsKnowledge of AWS, ServiceNow, and Cross Domain Systems (CDS)Familiarity with IC or DoD Cyber Security processesInnovative problem-solving skills for complex technical challengesHolistic approach to end-to-end systems development and lifecycle managementFamiliarity with translating high-level strategies into detailed system specificationsExperience in customer liaison and business development supportExperience in system conceptual design and multi-discipline engineering collaborationKnowledge of requirements verification and customer acceptance testing EEO Statement
