All about the role: Electrolux North America, the Business Area (BA) Controlling team is a central function within Finance. The team leads the Business Area financials and reporting to local management, Group HQ and the Board. We are in a dynamic and fast-moving environment acting as financial advisor to BA Management by providing decision making support, business intelligence and financial performance reporting. - The FP&A Senior Manager position has overall responsibility and accountability for understanding and communicating total BA financial position. It is also responsible for providing financial information to management by creating and maintaining periodic reports that analyze and communicate actual performance and the implications of ongoing business decisions as well as forecasting future performance. The operational responsibilities include:
- Lead FP&A support for business leaders within the different organizations at BA NA
- Structure and evaluate business problems, design and implement actionable recommendations, and define and monitor KPIs
- Drive initiatives to improve existing planning processes, drive automation, and streamline of deliverables
- Lead business reviews at a regular cadence to share performance updates and drive strategic shifts based on latest data
- Key partner to the business to develop strategies, build insightful forecasting and reporting and drive impactful insights for key leaders. This includes strategic partnership, financial presentations, and other projects as requested for optimal decision making within an extremely high growth and fast-paced environment.
- Improve and scale by developing repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all important partners, including standardizing and automating reports and improving how we leverage internal systems
- Drive the weekly/monthly reporting and forecasting activities as well as ensuring quality and accuracy of results
- Financial and Operational modeling
- Analyze and interpret financial results and forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, Working Capital and CAPEX)
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for leadership team and group
- Analysis of currency exposure effects
- MAVC & PVM analysis
- Assist with the Certification and Listing of laundry and dishwashers to NA product safety standards.
- Assist with energy certification and/or compliance to governmental agencies.
- Further define component and product specifications
- Implement Safety standards and key learnings from litigation and customer complaints.
- Proactive participation in AHAM and Industry Standards Task Groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's business degree (master's preferred)
- 10+ years of finance or FP&A experience, business controlling and strategic planning
- Managerial experience preferred
- Continuous improvement background preferred
Qualifications:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and experience resolving complex business problems with well-structured analytics and Expert Excel modeling, SAP experienced preferred
- Proven experience with dashboarding and business intelligence applications such as PowerBI, Qlik or Tableau preferred
- Experience with BPC and SAC, Essbase or AARO is a preferred, including experience of integrating/transitioning systems
- Project experience in high paced environments focused on rapid results (rapid performance improvement, turnaround)
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, constantly evolving business environment
- Outstanding presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities, that will drive alignment and resolution of critical business issues
- Strong executive presence and ability to deliver compelling messages to executives to drive effective decision making
- High ability to work under pressure with short and squeezed deadlines
- Advanced SQL experience preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment
