Chartwells K12 is seeking a passionate and experiencedDirector of Dining Servicesto lead food service operations atEminence Independent School in Eminence, KY-just 32 miles from Louisville. This role supports a single-campus district serving approximately 980 students and oversees a team of up to 8 dedicated Chartwells associates. Reporting to the Area Director, the Director will be responsible for both day-to-day kitchen operations and high-level collaboration with school leadership, requiring strong communication skills and a proactive, student-focused approach. Success in this role hinges on a solid understanding ofkitchen management and culinary operations, including food safety, staff supervision, and efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate is a confident, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building trusted relationships with students, staff, and administrators, and brings strong organizational skills to ensure smooth, high-quality dining experiences across the board.
